You'll go behind the scenes of a gelato laboratory to learn how gelato is made and taste freshly churned gelato straight from the machines. The tour also visits a Sicilian gelato shop so you can taste some of the best granita and cannoli outside of Sicily.
The attention to ingredient quality is tremendous- down to single origin chocolate, Sicilian pistachios and ricotta sourced from the Nebrodi mountains near Mount Etna!

The gelato demo is conducted in a small family-run gelateria in the historical center. For groups of 4 or more, the space might be a little cozy and may require taking turns. If you have issues with space let us know and we can try to come up with an alternative.
The gelato demo component of the experience is subject to availability, please keep in mind these are working gelato shops with staff generous enough to take time away from running their gelateria to host us during working hours in a busy city like Florence during the high travel season.
As a result, we have to be patient and flexible to their availability. We will will contact you if the start time needs to be modified in order to accommodate to the gelato chef’s schedule. If the gelato demo component is not available due to high demand, we will contact you and arrange an alternative tasting or offer a partial refund.
Up to 6 tickets may be purchased at a time. For private groups larger than 6 please send us a note via “REQUEST INFO”.
